Navigation Between the MMS and the PLC Utility
The MMS and the PLC Utility are designed for separate operation. The two systems have been integrated. The systems work simultaneously on the same computer. The two systems will not run at the same time. When the PLC utility is running, the MMS is not running.Shifting from the MMS to the PLC Utility

Touch the "Start PLC Utility" button in order to continue. Touch the "Cancel" button in order to return to the MMS. Note: The PLC Utility will start. The MMS will shut down. The MMS will not run while the PLC Utility is running.Shifting from the PLC Utility to the MMS

The system will display a list of all the cards. The system will prompt the user to select a card. You will see the "Select the Card to Configure It" window. Touch any card. This displays all of types of cards.Touch the appropriate type of card. Note the abbreviation that appears at the bottom of the card. The overview screen shows the general status of the PLC and the general status of communications. The information that is available on the overview screen is in the following list:
The "DDE Status" indicator reports the status of the Dynamic Data Exchange. A green status light indicates good communications. A red status light indicates that there is no DDE communication.
The "PLC Mode" reports the status of the PLC program. The following terms will depend on the setting in the PLC: Program, Remote, Remote Run and Run.
The "PLC Fault" indicator will be green for no faults. The "PLC Fault" indicator will be red when there is a fault.
Each card will display the type of configuration as well as the status. A card that displays a "Disabled" status indicates that the card was never configured or that the communications
