This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs.The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS52035" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The existing 162-9612 Fuel Transfer Pump Group that is part of the 162-9608 Unit Injector Hydraulic Pump Group can fail on certain 3126B Gen Set Engines. The failure has been associated to undersized splines inside of the fuel transfer pump. This may cause an accelerated wear to the splines of the fuel transfer pump and the unit injector hydraulic pump.

ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the failed 162-9608 Unit Injector Hydraulic Pump Group with a 20R-0122 Unit Injector Hydraulic Pump Group.
Note: Refer to Image1 to determine that the correct part is being installed. The correct fuel transfer pumps will have an "H" stamped in the part.
Refer to SENR9589, Disassembly and Assembly for instructions on the removal and installation of the unit injector hydraulic pump.
